Fundulopanchax Amieti

This Killi Never Will Change Its Yellow Stripe

Sometimes commonly known as Amiet's Lyretail this Cameroon native is easily recognized by its bright yellow stripe which runs from the middle of the tail to the chin area. The row of red spots or lines separates the yellow section from the blue area on top of the body.

It can grow up to 2.7 in (7 cm). It will eat live and frozen food, so we feed Amiet's Lyretail frozen bloodworm or frozen brine shrimp. The water in the tank should be 72-82°F (22-28°C) and has pH 6.0 - 7.8. This is a peaceful fish and could be good for community tank, however males will chase each other as for many other fish.
